At Serenity Rescue, our mission extends to all animals in need. Our dedicated Nebula Branch is specifically committed to providing a lifeline for dogs with unique challenges – including beloved seniors, those with complex medical conditions, and vulnerable puppies requiring extra specialized care.

Every dog at the Nebula Branch receives tailored attention, comprehensive medical support, and endless love as they recover, rehabilitate, and prepare for their forever homes. We believe every paw deserves a second chance, regardless of their past or present needs.

Our Story

This branch was inspired by the critical needs we encountered, most notably during the rescue of a tiny puppy battling bloat. Witnessing the immense care and dedication required for such a fragile life, and the overwhelming joy of its recovery, solidified our commitment to creating a specialized program for animals facing similar uphill battles.

A Special Note About Our Puppies!

We have eight incredibly sweet 10-week-old Lab mix puppies who are eagerly waiting for their forever families! While they received round-the-clock bottle feeding in their early days, they are now thriving, full of playful energy, cuddles, and puppy kisses. These truly "good puppies" have already had their initial vaccinations, been dewormed, and are on monthly preventative care.

Bluey

Age: 10 weeks
Breed: Lab Mix

Story: Blue is our very sweet, shy little runt who is quietly blossoming. Though a bit reserved at first, once he feels safe, he showers you with gentle affection. He's learning to explore the world at his own pace and is looking for a patient, loving home that will help him build confidence.
Special Needs: Requires continued puppy training and socialization.
Ideal Home: A calm and understanding home that can provide plenty of reassurance and consistent, positive training.

Smarty

Age: 10 weeks

Story: Diesel came to us in critical condition as a young puppy, bravely battling bloat. Thanks to urgent medical care and dedicated overnight support, he's made a remarkable recovery! He's a playful, resilient, and incredibly affectionate pup who loves to cuddle and explore. Diesel is looking for a family ready for puppy antics and committed to continued positive reinforcement training.
Special Needs: Recovered from bloat; requires monitoring for sensitive digestion.
Ideal Home: An active family with patience for puppy training, who will continue to monitor his health needs.

Chinook

Age: Senior (approx. 9 years) (AVAILABLE FOR FOSTERING)
Breed: Siberian Husky Mix
Story: Sweet Chinook found himself in rescue after his owner could no longer care for him. He's a gentle giant who loves leisurely walks, soft beds, and quiet companionship. He was recently diagnosed with hypothyroidism, which is now well-managed with daily medication. He's looking for a calm, loving home where he can enjoy his golden years.
Special Needs: Hypothyroidism (managed with daily medication).
Ideal Home: A quiet home with consistent routine, preferably with experience with senior dogs or willingness to manage medication.

Miley

Age: Senior (approx. 14 years) (AVAILABLE FOR FOSTERING)
Breed: Pug
Story: Adorable Miley is a true testament to resilience! At 14, she still has a zest for life, especially when it involves short walks, yummy treats, and snuggles on the couch. She came to us needing some dental work and a good senior check-up, and she's now ready for a loving retirement home where she can be pampered.
Special Needs: Senior care, potential age-related needs (e.g., mild arthritis, vision/hearing support).
